Most people shopping for an online Vaastu consultant have never seen the offline process, which makes a quote impossible to judge. It has six parts.
They walk the property — plot shape, slope, road position, adjoining structures, water sources, open space on each side. None of it appears on a drawing.
A reading is taken on site with a magnetic compass or Vaastu chakra, usually from the plot centre, rather than trusting the North arrow printed on a builder plan.
Dimensions are measured and often checked against Aaya or Ayadi calculations, so what was actually built is assessed instead of the brochure figures.
Many traditions ask for occupants’ names and birth details, sometimes horoscopes, and tailor prescriptions to whoever will use a particular room.

For anything judged from the plan geometry — which direction each room sits in, where the entrance falls, whether the kitchen or toilet is in an awkward zone — an online Vaastu consultation is reliable, because that is all in the drawing. It is incomplete when the answer depends on what a drawing cannot show: plot slope, road level, an overhead tank, a transformer next door.

Approximately, and the tool helps you fix it. After upload there is a compass and map step where you rotate the plan until North on the drawing matches North in reality — most people use their phone compass or find the building on a satellite map. A few degrees of error is tolerable; confusing North with East is not, because it shifts every room into the wrong zone.
It is better at some things and cannot do others at all. The AI applies documented rules to every room consistently, in seconds, with no incentive to sell remedies. A good consultant brings site inspection, an on-the-ground compass reading, judgement about the surroundings and, in some traditions, horoscope-linked advice. For screening a flat the AI is usually enough; for new construction, a human earns the fee.
