The North-East is the water corner (Ishanya) and the most sensitive zone in the house. Fire here is the classic Vaastu fault — linked to health worries and money that does not stay.
- Cook facing East; keep the stove off the North-East wall if at all possible.
- Keep the kitchen spotless and the north-east corner of it empty.
- Copper bowl of water in the north-east corner of the kitchen, refilled daily ₹400–800).
