This is the part worth keeping. Run any Vaastu app, website or software through these, ours included, and judge it without taking marketing on trust.
Plans get rotated to fit the page, so assuming the top of the image is North fails on most uploads.
Indoor steel throws a phone compass off; a map cross-check beats one reading taken in a hallway.

There is no single best one, because these tools solve different problems. A free calculator answers one rule question. An analyser judges a whole layout. Desktop software produces client documents. Match the category to the input you have.
They are accurate at looking up a rule, but they cannot judge your home, because you never showed it to them. Room proportions, the Brahmasthan, a toilet in the north-east: none of it reaches the form. Treat the output as a reference.
Four things. Does it make you confirm North rather than assuming it? Does it show what it detected and let you correct it? Does it say which Vaastu tradition it applies? Is the price clear, and one-time or recurring?
Yes. Every directional judgement rests on it, and a 45 degree error turns a good report into a wrong one. Take a compass reading, then cross-check it against the satellite view of your building, since indoor steel pulls the needle off true.
